How to Navigate the Solstice Energies as a Healer Business Owner

Solstice is almost upon us and the world around us as always gets a little crazy at this time of year.

I’ll share a secret with you that I used to really dislike Winter (and parts of me still much prefer Summer) yet what has shifted is now I deeply appreciate the wisdom of nature at this time of year and in a busy world that has taught us to stay busy, busy, leaving us with no time to go inside, the wisdom of Winter Solstice is super important and magical.

So if you are feeling guilty about taking you time, pulled in all directions and yearn for some stillness, if you feel you should be doing something for your business but lack the energy and inspiration, then you may be (as I used to be) out of synch with the natural cycles of our earth and all that is needed is a moment to understand the power of stillness and rest.

Most of us have lives that ask more of us at this time of year and we have little time to go within. Yet nature does the complete opposite at this time of year – she goes deep down inside herself and into the invisible realms of under the earth. Here are some reminders of the truth of this time of year:

• Our deepest core is activated at this time – the Kidney meridian is at her peak and within this energy resides your DNA and who you truly are as a physical yet also a sacred being of light.
• As a result this is a potent time to tap into who you truly are and get really clear on your unique gifts and what you have to offer the world.
• Use your magical healing tools to find that deepest core of you within – I use lots of essential oils and essences. The Crimson Blend is my favourite at this time of year.
• Find ways to keep yourself connected to your deepest core. I use candles, journalling, oracle cards and log fires.
• Activate trust and an inner knowing that this part of the cycle is rich, potent and fertile.
